Poem

In Passing

Christ follows Dionysus,
Phallic and ambrosial
Made way for macerations;
Caliban casts out Ariel.

The holy nest of postured cracks
Left low the swallows
The causing and caused
Birds lost of future storms

Remind me amiss
If I have clothed days
If with swollen wings
I leave with all but last

Framed in no uncertainty:
With cut and fire
Cracked and ending
I leave with all but last

Friendship, love, amiss
The past and blessed passing.
